When you are about to die your life flashes in front of your eyes (as said by many). Why does this happen? Is it because you are being judged at the very last moment of your life? For those that believe, maybe the phrase God is everywhere is untrue. Perhaps when you die, that’s when all you’ve done in life is viewed and judged. A summarized viewing of your life to a higher power to determine your passage into heaven or hell. Food for thought.

We all could probably agree that mankind has an unlocked potential. The fact that we use only a small part of our brain supports this theory. Many movies and TV shows demonstrate their idea of what it may be. You see them giving us special powers moving objects with our mind, reading others thoughts, teleporting among other things. Things that basically give us power, money or some form control feeding our seemingly natural pattern of greed.

I feel if we do ever figure out our unlocked potential it will be something beyond our understanding at this point in history. Something that does not give you any sort of ability and something that can not be used for power or control. I feel it will be an understanding of something that gives us nothing to gain. I am not talking about the whole “knowledge is power” type of knowledge either. We are just as greedy with that as anything else. This will be something that leaves us as powerless as we are today, something unheard of, something beyond our comprehension for our minds.

We need to open our minds and allow the chance for something completely new and can take ourselves away from the concept of power or control. If we do this we may just figure this out one day.

Why is it we love spicy food? As we munch down on some (perhaps tasteless) food decide to add a flaming torture of hot sauce to it and suddenly we love it! Thinking to ourselves MMMMMM this is much better now as the tears of pain drip down your cheek… sweet sweet painful joy from our eyes. “I completely enjoyed hurting my mouth in a fiery delicious torture.” You think as you sweat and blow your runny nose. What is it that makes us think we enjoy all this pain in our mouths? I do it myself, sometimes I even add more if I’m in an adventurous mood.

You are who you are and most don’t put much other thought in to it than that. Do you like who you are? I came up with a method of finding out what you want to change about yourself that you may have never realized you wanted to change.

Stop for a moment and think of a world where everyone was exactly like you. So all your interactions with other people would be exactly as it is when people currently interact with you. Do you find yourself getting frustrated or annoyed? Are there some things you do that you would hate if others did to you? The way you are perceiving your personality clones is most likely how others look at you. Food for thought.

We all know “the birds and the bees” is another term for sex, but what does it all mean? What could birds and bees (things that seemingly have hardly any relation) have to do with sex? They certainly don’t have sex with each other. You don’t see any super bee-birds flying around eating seeds and making honey. Could it possibly have something to do with bees stinging? When they sting they “penetrate” whatever they are stinging… but even so that still doesn’t explain the birds half of it. It probably isn’t very pleasant when birds and bees get together… perhaps the term was created by someone that doesn’t enjoy sex? In the end, I have no real solid explanation that can make sense of this.

Would you like water or dislike water if you were your average kitchen sponge?

If you were a sponge, would you like or dislike water?

As I started doing the dishes, I put the sponge under the water in preperation. I started thinking it looked all dryed out and miserable before it soaked up the water.

If you were an average dish sponge that could feel, what do you think would be more comfortable? Dried out and stiff or soaked full of water?

It’s possible you would you feel like you were drowning with all that water, like “damn this cursed skin of mine! Always absorbing so much water! If only it would repel it like normal people I would be so much happier”. With this comes a sturdy pose uneasily changed by others.

Or would you feel better off soaked in water. “I’m Sooo thirsty! Need water… If I just had some water to absorb that would feel so great!” Even though once you absorb water you become soft and flimsy realizing you are helpless to stay in any pose you wish with a simple squeeze or push.

Which would you choose?

You know how when your trying to be hush hush about something, you tell people a secret in a whisper. We seem to have great control of the volume of our voices and use it accordingly. Do other animals have this same control? I feel like dogs, horses etc might be able to but I started wondering about birds. I can’t think of a time where their chirps were any quieter than the usual loud pitch they do. Do they have the vocal ability to chirp quieter? Maybe they are able to, but have no reason to. If they do I wish they would whisper in the early mornings, rather than waking me up at the crack of dawn!

Are we able to tell surrounding events even if we aren’t able to physically see or encounter them? Perhaps we tap into a resource every now and again that we don’t actually realize exists. Something connecting our minds to the physical world in a way other than our 6 senses. Maybe there is more to our planets atmosphere than we know and somehow that connects us. What if it connected every living thing on it, and we tap into this connection unknowingly at times. How many times have you predicted something that has happened or felt someone was in trouble with no real (or understandable) way of truly knowing. Later you find out your feeling was right?

Below is just one of many examples that have happened to me:

Just the other day I was out to dinner with my brother and mom when I had a vision/day dream of a police car, broken glass and yelling in a parking garage. I thought nothing of it and rejoined the conversation my brother and mom were having. When it was time to leave we each head our separate ways walking to our cars. My brother and I both had our cars out in the parking lot while my moms was in the garage. When I got into my car I suddenly realized the daydream I had was in the garage and made me nervous.

I immediately called my mom on the phone to be sure everything was okay. She replied yes and as she continued on she described seeing a police car pulled up next to a car that had its window broken into.
